Amelia is a 4 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog/English Pointer mix.  Look at her gorgeous blue eyes! She gets along well with other dogs, but can be protective of food and bones and would need to be watched around other dogs while eating or playing with toys. Because of this tendency, she would do best in a home with children older than eight. Amelia loves to run, she enjoys time outside but has been known to scale and climb a fence so she does require a home with a privacy fence.  She has been enrolled in agility training and was very successful in the past. Amelia would be an excellent running partner and needs this stimulation in order to be successful, so we are looking for an active family to adopt her.
