Cat of the Week: Charlie

Julia D Cat of the Week

My name is Charlie and I was found as a stray by the Pipac Center in Cedar Falls. I hung out there for about a week until my foster mom could get me to her house. I am approximately 2 1/2 to 3 years old. I am a neutered male with all claws. My testing shows I am Feline Leukemia and FIV negative and up to date on shots. Microchipped as well. My foster mom says I am so sweet. I love head scratches and rubbing on your hand. I am litter trained. I play with the other cats in the foster home (there are kittens in the house as well). I run and play with the female cat a lot. I don’t even mind the 3 little dogs in the house. I enjoy a cat bed to lay on and I’m super quiet unless I’m scared or hungry. I love love love to eat!!! I don’t get on the counters because my foster mom doesn’t allow that kind of stuff but I’m ok with that. I’m happy to be in a home where someone loves me and takes care of me.

Foster mom notes: Charlie is so very sweet, calm, and pretty lazy. He is currently on cat food from Science Diet indoor cat. He is pretty timid at first and needs time to get to know you and the routine but he’s so very loving. He’s good with pets and can be picked up but he will squirm to get down after a short period. He loves other animals. HeĀ is very accepting and adjusts so well to new environments. He will make a very good companion to anyone.
